Happy Chinese New Year!

Whoop. I shall be returning home for this year's Chinese New Year celebration, my first proper celebration with my family since I departed Taiwan 14 years ago! My mouth is already watering at the thought of all the food that surrounds this special occasion. Come to think of it, this is the longest I've been away from Taiwan...whole 18 months. My annual pilgrimage was canceled last year as my mother came to visit instead. Even though I have spent more of my life in the UK than TW, I still regard TW as my home... probably because us Chinese are very much family orientated species. Though I am pretty much a tourist when I go home, so this year I have decided, I will act like one and try to take as many photos as possible.

By some strange twist of fate, I shall be visiting Tokyo while I am on that side of the world for a weekend. :D Another architectural capital I can tick off my list!

Needless to say I am super excited about what's waiting for me over the next two weeks! Only 56 hours till I hop on that flight home!
