Holiday!

Am away to Greece till the 10th of September, so probably won't reply to emails etc... Though I will switch my phone on every now and then, so text me!

I got it!

Went for two interviews and both offered me a job! I made the difficult decision of deciding which one to take and am now all set and ready for the new chapter of my life. Joining the 9-5s soon......well....after a relaxing holiday in Greece first. :)

Waiting n waiting.....

9 days till my holiday to Greece. I seem to be at the departure lounge already, waiting, though both my destination and flight are currently uknown; waiting for job offers to come through so I can decide what path I shall take. I don't operate well in uncertain situations. I like to make the decisions or plans and act accordingly, though I think that may just mean I like to be in control?! I hope all the uncertainties can be cleared soon, so I can stop the worrying....and waiting......

Today ends my Mum's month long visit to England. The last time my mum was in the UK was back in 1994, alot has changed since then... the weather for one. Who knew England is capable of so much sunshine?! Me and mum traveled to lots of places, mainly to visit all my schools and see where I had been for the last 13 years. It was an emotional journey for both of us... my mum can finally catch up with parts of my childhood that she missed, see what environment has shaped her daughter, and I can finally walk round the schools with my mum. It was weird to see those places still there and functioning, without me knowing or being there. The images of the schools in my head from when I left were different to what I saw, though not completely, it still shocked me in some ways.

This summer marks the end of my formal education, and the beginning of real life. Who knows what it will bring? I am now looking for THE job that can help me become independent in every way. Tough tough.....fingers crossed!
