designed by me, illustrated by my baby!

SO, 5th year architecture came and went. It was hell of a struggle, but somehow I managed to pull myself through. Not without help of course! Orestes very kindly offered to help during the last 5 days of my project and gave me a real boost! The visuals were amazing and the moral supports were very much appreciated! The crit went ok, they were looking for the more hand drawn, sketchy, collage approach, so my graphicy, diagrammatic presentation wasn't much appreciated, but I like the ideas of my project and I like the visuals, so that's all that matters!

how many part 1 students does it take to create this exhibition??

where did the penguins go?? *pout*

Straight after the crit we busted our ass to London and tried to do lots before Orestes had to go back to Athens. We managed to fit in the London Zoo visit and Tate Modern's Herzog & de Meuron exhibition in-between seeing his friends in London. I was pretty disappointed at the zoo when I discovered the penguins were no-longer in THE penguin pool! shocking! I wanted to see them waddle down the slides and hop in the water. Unfortunately Orestes had to get on the flight to go back to Athens, but apparently he has intentions of moving back to London to become a true Apple genius and kick everyone's social life into gear!!

Last Saturday night, Raph and I turned up at Nigel's first BBQ of the season! the temperature was soo hot it was perfect. Got to meet lots of people, and finally got to meet Stella. On the Sunday we went round to Nige's to help him clean up and we christened his Risk board. I won the game of course, but Nigel did pull the best move in Risk history. He managed to conquer the whole of Australian state in one move from Siam!

Now I am back in bath, continuing the house hunt process and packing away my worldly possessions! Oh, and need to think about my dreaded dissertation!
