The holiday season is here again for the lucky people thats not doing Architecture. We just got a reminder yesterday from our tutors that we have only got 60 days left till the final day! AAARRRGGHH!

Thursday, March 11

I have recently been getting used to slacking without me noticing. I only became aware of this laziness today when I had a tutorial. There I was explaining why I don't think my scheme was going to work and all the potential problems I am going to face, and the tutor just said 'you are just delaying work!'....And he's right! I didn't have an intension of doing so...But I guess my mind was just doing it anyway! So...No more play time for Jane...Only something like 10 weeks till the end...arrgghh!

Went to see the 'school of Rock' movie last week and it's very funny. Predictable plot, but extremely hilarious with Jack Black being what I imagine him to be like in real life, wacky and mental....Just what I needed after a crit!

oh, and here is a website that every one must check out www.omlet.co.uk! I love it and I now want to be a proud chicken owner with my very own red eglu...I just need £325, a house and a garden......Help....anyone?

Saturday afternoon I went along to see a film called 'Rivers and Tides: Andy Goldsworthy working with time' . As the title suggests, its a film on the artist Andy Goldsworthy, documenting the creation of some of his works. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole film, as it has made me appreciate him more as an artist and understand what he's trying to achieve with his pieces. Throughout the film you felt you were there with him creating all these amazing sculptures, painstakingly placing each rock on top of each other and felt the frustration when the whole sculpture just collapsed, near completion. Seeing the film also helped me to clarify what I want to achieve with my final project, which part of it is about 'seeing something that was always there but never saw, because you were blind to it.'
