" You have to begin to lose your memory, if only in bits and pieces , to realize that memory is what makes our lives. Life without memory is no life at all... Our memory is our coherence, our reason, our feeling, even our action. Without it, we are nothing..." Luis Bunuel
I am currently reading The man who mistook his wife for a hat, and it is a fascinating book. There are so many things we take for granted that our minds just do for us, yet at the same time..Are what we are perceiving real?( I can just go on and on with questions like that....) The mind IS really a wonderful thing and a terrible thing at the same time! The book is full of bizarre cases of incidents when people's brain fail to function 'properly', and after reading them I yern for more information and answers to questions that I have.
