It's either something in the water, or I am getting old! I know two people that got engaged last Friday! Separate cases, on different side of the Atlantic. One of them is my childhood best friend, Kate. Kate and I have share bedrooms together for at least 5 years when we were in boarding school. Many nights we stayed up chatting away about lives, our dreams and of course the question of who's getting married first! NOW we know. I, of course phoned the happy girl and got the low down on the whole proposal...Did he get down on one knee? Was it all very romantic?? Apparently he took her in front of the Birmingham cathedral where they shared many happy memories, while holding both her hands....Asked her to marry him. He had previously already got the parents' permission (how very sweet). The other person that got engaged was Brandon. I don't know him at all, but he was one of Raph's room mates at uni.

I am very happy for both couples, and how they are very lucky to find that special someone to share the rest of their lives with! Congratulations!!!!! oh and I better be invited to the wedding Kate!
